Reimagining Elite Higher Education
November 2025
Branding, Typography
Complete branding, signage, and program created for the annual conference of Class Action, a non-profit seeking to redefine the relationship between institutions of higher education and society at large.
The Reimagning Elite Higher Education conference was featured in the Wall Street Journal and gathered students, alumni, and academics from across the country to rewrite the academic social contract.

The conference branding emphasizes a material history of political movements with a monochromatic color palette, bold headline font, and small touches of visible halftone.
The program needed to serve several purposes throughout the weekend. Containing the entirety of the New Academic Social Contract in addition to a schedule, map, activities, and space for note-taking, a flexible grid and workhorse body typeface accomodated many forms of content.
The halftone cloud motif repeated throughout the conference materials gives a tangibility to the concepts being presented in addition to referencing the idea of reimagination.
