Type: Product Design
Project: Omnibus
Date: Fall 2023

Created as the final project for Core 1: Interaction at Parsons School of Design, Omnibus is a hypothetical app that would collect information on elected officials from various public data bases including Congress.gov, FEC filings, and OpenSecrets.org in one easily accessible and understandable location to allow Americans to more easily hold their elected officials accountable.

Design decisions are rooted in extensive user research which revealed two kinds of users: the highly engaged and the comepletely disengaged. User personas, journey maps, and flows were developed with these two kinds of users in mind.

The visual design is tangible and reliable. By using textures, colors, and graphic elements that draw from physical documents and annotations, I want users to feel like they have been handed an offical memo on the issues and politicians they want to learn more about.
